Schaerer sales were lingering with no prospects of growth. Profitability was ok, but below average of the industry. While the brand had a good reputation with its customers from its past, there was a lack of clear value proposition and brand positioning in the markets. 

Solution

An analysis of the business model delivered a key strength and capability of Schaerer – understanding the specific customer requirements and being quick in turning them into a solution.

The strategy leveraging this key capability was coined “We love it your way.” and implemented across the whole organization by defining the adaptations to be made to professionalize this flexibility for the best customer experience. The product portofolio was adapted to support this strategy.
